It is simple life sucks, live with it.
There is no evidence that, there is no evidence for the existing of the Lord.
There is even no evidence, that if there is a Lord that he is omnibenevolent, omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.
Millions, no billions on this world believe in the Lord, regardless of they are Christians, Muslims or Jewish. They also have one thing in common; they all think that the Lord is omnibenevolent, omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.
Therefore, if the Lord is attributed with being all-helpful, all-knowing, always present and all-powerful than there can be no doubt that we are well looked after.
It is at this point that things are going wrong way, the world is certainly not looked after very well. From early days, the strongest most violent ones always have forced their way over the world.
Destroying and killing what ever was in their way.
Nature disasters have always left a trail of death and destruction over the world.
The question can now arise, does the Lord exist, or is the Lord an imagination driven in fear for the terrible illnesses, the many slaughters during war, the many deaths and destruction by nature disasters. The sum of this is the need for protection from illnesses, the wars and the force of nature.
Christians say they do not believe in mythical things, although it does not stop them from having many Saints, to who they pray for help, lightening the candles in the church, all in the hoop of protection from illnesses, wars and natural disasters.
Obvious it does not work, people are still getting ill, wars are still created and natural disasters are still tormenting the world all over. It is no wonder that the people of this earth getting slowly the feeling, that the Lord is not always omnipresent. And if he his certainly not all-knowing, man can doubt even of he is all-powerful.
We can off course follow the way, by simple saying and repeating the Buddhist phrase of Karma and all what is happening to man now is a result of actions in a previous life. However, we are not that dumb we are still able to think for our selves.
So what is the reason that we are so desperate in need of a Higher Being is it fear? Is it that we want to belong to a group for security and comfort? Is it that we see a money making opportunity.
These are serious questions, questions which go straight to the hearth of the religion matter. The philosophy institute the reason, as religion institute the truth, together they are the floor on which our mind and our brains are forming our thoughts to calculate what is right and what is wrong.
However, if serious illness, war or a nature disaster occurs which affect us, than we are in doubt on what to believe. An all-knowing Lord would not do that to the believer in him, He would not allow it, and He would avert it so that we are saved from that illness, that war and that natural disaster. Here now lays the problem. The believer does get serious ill, will be affected by war and is a victim of a natural disaster. It is no good to hear from an outsider that this suffering is upon them because the Lord loves them, and will protect them, because it is obvious clear that this is not the case.
Others will say that we need to have an open mind for the wonders of the Lord. However, this rather difficult if laying on a death bed, being a victim of war, or being buried under a mountain of debris because of a natural disaster. We would wonder of the shoe was on the other foot and the Lord was buried under a mountain of debris.
But then again, many see the Lord a more mythical figure, it is there to believe in so that you can belong to a group but in reality you do not really believe it.
If we research this matter further, then we come at an other problem. The validity for the existence of the Lord, and the religion doctrine behind it. So far we know there is only written text created of a period of two thousands of years, created by mankind, on the instructions of the Lord.
Here we have straight away yet another problem. Created by the Lords instructions, says who?
We have figures like Abram and Jacob, who heard the voice of the Lord, did they? Do we really have to believe that they heart a voice? It should be known by most people that if they engage with a person who hears a voice, a direct call should be made for the people in white preferable with a straight jacket to use.
In simple words, there is no prove of the Lord. This does not mean we cannot create prove to show his existence, and many use this created prove to roll out their money spinning trap. The simple fact of the sun going up in the morning is pointed at as the work of the Lord. Here again it does not really prove that the Lord exist it is just a presumption.
There is no assumption that there is any validity for any religion doctrine that is related to the Lord, therefore there is no validity in discussing such a possibility, as the logic and the proof are not available.
As it cannot be demonstrated that a Lord exist, is in contact or cares, it will come down to belief.
Belief is the important factor, only believe in the Lord can do us believe that we are to behave as we do. Is there a Lord? Maybe, it does not really matter, as it is just possible.
